Wireline Retrievable Latches
ABOUT:
JMI Manufacturing, Inc. wireline retrievable latches are used for installing retrievable flow control devices in side pocket mandrels.

APPLICATIONS:
Latches are designed to lock a flow control device in the appropriate side pocket mandrel profile. To retrieve the latch and attached flow control device, upward jarring of the tool string shears the release shear pin permitting the locking mechanism to disengage from the latching side pocket profile.
FEATURES/BENEFITS:
• 180° locking device utilizing a spring loaded ring style latching mechanism
• JM-BK-2 latch for 1” (25.4 mm) OD flow control device
• JM-BK-2P ported latch for 1” (25.4 mm) OD flow control device requiring communication from the top of the flow control device thru the latch
• JM-RK latch for 1 ½” (38.1 mm) OD flow control device - has O-rings to prevent debris from entering the pocket of the mandrel
• JM-RK-P ported latch for 1 ½” (38.1 mm) OD flow control device requiring
communication from the top of the flow control device thru the latch - has O-rings prevent debris from entering the pocket of the mandrel
• 360° locking device utilizing a spring loaded rotating cam latching mechanism.
• JM-RA latch for 1½” (38.1 mm) OD flow control device. This latch has
O-rings to prevent debris from entering the pocket of the mandrel
