Wireline Retrievable Equalizing Dummy Valves

ABOUT:

The ED series wireline retrievable equalizing dummy valves are installed in side pocket mandrels as an equalizing tool between casing and tubing. Equalization can be accomplished before the valve is pulled by removing the equalizing rod from the valve with a wireline trip. A second trip is later required to remove the valve. The quality construction and materials provide for a long service life.

APPLICATIONS:

The ED series wireline retrievable dummy valves are installed in side pocket mandrels to isolate communication between casing and tubing and protect the seal bore of the side pocket mandrel.
