Retrievable Flow Control Devices

Wireline Retrievable Chemical Injection Valves

ABOUT:

The CIR Series wireline retrievable chemical injection valves are used to control the amount of chemicals or fluids injected into the tubing to control corrosion in wells, treat paraffin, dissolve salt and prevent hydrate or scale formations in the wells.

The valve is designed with a nickel alloy power spring which provides the closing force of the valve. The compression spring allows for setting operating differential pressures of 500 psi (34 bars) to 4000 psi (276 bars). The spring controlled test rack opening pressure can be easily adjusted from outside of the valve without the need of disassembly. The spring loaded operation of the JM-CIR and JM20-CIR allows for accurate functioning of the valve regardless of well temperature.

APPLICATIONS:

The CIR Series chemical injection valves are installed in a side pocket mandrel to control the injection of treatment fluids down hole to control corrosion, harmful deposits or control hydrates in completions. The valves can be used in annular or injection control line applications. Treatment fluids can be pumped through the valve continuously or intermittently.
